Good morning, and welcome back to our live blog of the AFL trade period. We made it! Deadline day has arrived — the final day for player trading in this offseason, with the window set to SLAM SHUT at 7.30pm AEDT.
And there is a mountain of work for these clubs to get through today, with so many deals that have been stuck in stalemates for two weeks now reaching crunch time. Will we see a succession of breakthroughs to get these players where they want to go? Or will dreams be crushed and plans thwarted at the last moment?
